Earlier tonight, Nintendo released Switch software version 7.0, Super Smash Bros: Ultimate version 2.0, and most importantly, Piranha Plant for early purchasers of the game.
After downloading all the updates, the character is immediately unlocked for all modes, no challenge match needed. But, the burning question on everyone’s mind is “As one of the odder choices for a Super Smash Brothers character, how does he play?”. It’s only been a short time, but my notes on this new fighter are below.
